Cringe.com on Pabst Blue Rendezvous

After a quick walk to Family Dollar for batteries and an iced tea, Trains Across the Sea (above) were on the small stage. A rag-tag bunch of neo bike hippies, the animated, verbose main vocalist raps folk refrains I couldn’t keep up with but they make me think of Woody Guthrie or early Bob Dylan crossed with the humor of Weird Al or perhaps King Missile or Mojo Nixon. Rough, sarcastic but rustically real.
